Journey to the medieval county capital.
Our team welcomes you in the afternoon
at the foot of the renowned castle.
3. MONTSEGUR
Dramatic trip to the ruins of the perched castle where 200 Cathars were burned during the Albigensian Crusade.
2. ROQUEFIXADE
Moderate walk to the vestiges of a castle destroyed by the army of the king of France. Sweeping views over the Pyrenean range.
4. HAUNTED GORGES
After the gorges de la Frau your itinerary follows the hilly countryside of Pays de Sault,
at the very heart of the Aude region.
5. AX LES THERMES
A pleasant route along woody valleys and rivers to the lovely town of Ax, reputed spa resort. Comfortable hotel and good food.
